Natalie El-Deiry
Director of Immigration and New American Integration
Her work advances strategies and policies that meaningfully improve the quality of life for immigrants, help energize our economy, and strengthen Utah communities.
El-Deiry completed her undergraduate degree in anthropology with a Spanish and Latin American studies minor. As an active member in her community, El-Deiry volunteers her time and expertise as a board member of the Utah Nonprofit Association and a community council member of the Salt Lake County Council of Diversity Affairs. El-Deiry is a first-generation Latina, the mother to two little boys, and enjoys spending time with her family on adventures around the great state of Utah.
Nicolle Pitt White
Attorney with Contigo Law
Nicholle has lived in Utah for most of her life. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Southern Utah University in Criminal Justice and Spanish. She lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania while attending law school at Duquesne University. During her studies, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Granada, Spain and Belfast and Dublin, Ireland. Nicholle has wanted to be a lawyer for as long as she can remember. In pursuit of that goal, she began taking Spanish classes when she was eleven. She really likes being a lawyer, baking, and making bad puns.
Maria Fernanda Gomez Contreras
Vice Consul Department of Protection, Mexican Consul of Utah
Maria Fernanda is a graduate in Political Science and Public Administration.
She is a career member of the Mexican Foreign Service since 2015. During
2016 and 2019, she oversaw the Protection of Mexican nationals at the
Mexican Embassy in Venezuela.
After finishing her term there, she moved to Utah to supervise the
Documentation Department at the Mexican Consulate of Salt Lake City and
since then, she oversees the Protection Department at the same Consulate
covering the State of Utah as well as the western part of Wyoming.
